    Our tour starts with a pick up at your accommodation in Cape Town and surrounding areas at 9:00am (flexible) on this private tour to Cape of Good Hope and Boulders beach & Penguin colony. We begin with a brief drive-by city orientation tour to see important monuments and building in the city centre.

    Your first stop will be in the Bo-Kaap (Cape Malay Quarter) for a photo opportunity with colorful houses, which carries great historical significance.   • Old Cape Point Lighthouse, Cape Point, South Africa
    From the Cape of Good Hope you will drive to Cape Point. Arriving at Cape Point you will have a choice between a 15-minute hike or take the Flying Dutchman Funicular to the Cape Point Lighthouse (if in operation). Here we will also explore the most south-western point of Africa, known as the Cape Point, where the cold Benguela from the Atlantic Ocean, meets the warm Agulhas current of the Indian Ocean.

  • Boulders Beach Penguin Colony, Simon's Town, South Africa
    Your next stop will be the Boulders beach to see and experience African Penguins at close range. The beach is home to some 2500 breeding pairs of African Penguins and is always clean and safe, because it falls under the Table Mountain National Park Marine Protected Area. You may even find one or two of these enchanting creatures walking alongside you on the boardwalk.

The entire experience was wonderful! Leonard was personable and he was very knowledgeable about the various sites he took me to see throughout the city. My visit to Cape Town with Him as my guide was very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend, African Sun Tours with Leonard as your tour guide :D
